OK, so this is a day late and a dollar short but here goes. This post is in regards to the video Dog and Vomit. So I was IMing an ex boyfriend, as I have in the past, but this time some how things got explicit. He had just broken up with his girlfriend, and had been fantasizing about me recently. It seemed out of no were how the conversation went from innocently talking about youth group days to things only husbands and wives should talk about. Then there was the offer to come to his house and dot dot dot. Immediately my heart asked me over and over again if I was like a dog returning to my own vomit. Also that I should just call a friend of mine tell him who I was getting tempted and have him keep me accountable. I then convinced myself why that was a bad idea (another story for another day), and proceeded to my ex boyfriend's house. Reasoning that we would just talk and catch up on old times. That and more happened. Things did not go all the way there but far enough for me to feel empty, ashamed, broken, and Far from my Father. I hope that by writing this blog and confessing that I will be taking the steps necessary for this to never happen again. Thank you for listening and God bless.
